Meet Bayer’s Blue Ribbon Beekeeper, Tucker Leck

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Bee-ware! About a third of all the foods we consume — from honey to veggies, to fruits and nuts — rely to some extent on bees and other pollinators. That's why we need to make sure we protect them and their habitat. Bees feed us, so it’s only fair that we return the favor. Bayer Crop Science has various initiatives that are helping ensure our pollinators continue to thrive.

Their Blue Ribbon Beekeeper Award program recognizes the next generation of beekeepers and pollinator advocates (12-18 years old) and their efforts to give back to their communities. Today, we meet Tucker Leck, who, from a young age, has promoted and protected pollinator health in his hometown of Neodesha, Kansas.

Stay tuned to see how this young beekeeper is making a difference, spreading the word on why bees are so vital.
