For over 20 years, the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights has accompanied and advocated for over 10,000 children from more than 70 countries. The Young Center provides independent Child Advocates to unaccompanied and separated children by submitting best interests determinations to government officials and by providing safe repatriation support to children returning to their home country. They ensure that no matter what, children are with a trusted adult caregiver. The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights strives for an immigration system that centers on children’s rights and best interests throughout all steps of their detention and release.
