On this segment of The Balancing Act, we meet The Healing Hands Foundation . Here, doctors and nurses come together to donate their time to help children in need. Traveling thousands of miles away to remote areas, the organization's dynamic group of South Florida medical specialists provide care to a variety of children suffering from dangerous conditions or deformities. Volunteers spend seven to 10 days on a single mission, supplying medical, dental, and surgical treatments.
