Babe Rizzuto and Conair Join the Show!

Release: 2010-07-29

O2 Media’s Hit Morning TV Show “The Balancing Act” Welcomes Babe Rizzuto from Conair® to the Program!

(Pompano Beach, FL – July 2010) Everyone wants to look perfect at their wedding, and for the bride great hair is one of the key elements of that desire. Requiring bridesmaids to have matching hairstyles is also not uncommon, and in the end the cost can be staggering. So why pay for it when you can just do it yourself? Tune in to The Balancing Act August 2nd at 7:00 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television to see Babe Rizzuto, Vice President of Public Relations for Conair®, demonstrate how easy it can be to create bridal hairstyles on a budget.

“A lot of brides and bridesmaids are very nervous about doing their own hair on wedding day,” Rizzuto says, “but if you have the right tools and accessories, there’s really nothing to fear. The Balancing Act is a great opportunity to showcase a few very inexpensive styling tools from Conair® that can make bridal beauty simple and fun.”

Part of the fun of self-styling, she says, is the opportunity to practice and pre-view your style in advance, as well as bond with your bridesmaids as you design each other’s hair and try on gowns. She highlights three popular styles that are easy to create at home: the loose “half-up half-down” style, the sleek “up-do,” and the now fashionable wavy hair worn down.

“Having Babe Rizzuto from Conair® on ‘The Balancing Act’ has brought yet another great solution to women, one that will have a real impact, and help them balance their lives. This is the essence of solutions-based programming, and we are proud that we could bring this information to our viewers” says Doug Campbell, Founder and Executive VP of Programming for The Balancing Act.

All of the styling tools used on the show retail for less than $50 and, according to Rizzuto, are very simple to use. She recommends pairing your new hairstyle with accessories from Elle and a gown from Alfred Angelo.
