PharmaCline, LLC Talks Medicine Cabinet Makeover on The Balancing Act" on Lifetime Television

Viewers get tips on keeping their medicine cabinets healthy and up-to-date

(Pompano Beach, FL - August 16, 2012) Many people have a medicine cabinet loaded with products but may not stock the correct items for their needs or take the time to check expiration dates. Make sure to tune in on August 20th at 7 am (ET/PT) as Steve Keough, CEO of pharmaCline®, innovators of wound care products, gives viewers advice about managing their medicine cabinets to ensure the use of safe and effective products.

This episode is pharmaCline's fourth and final segment in a 4-part series on Caregiver Aid.

During the segment, viewers will learn the importance of the three R's - READ, REMOVE AND RESTOCK. Many believe that products in a medicine cabinet do not expire, or that triple antibiotics are for everybody. Studies show that some triple antibiotics are contributing to a unique strain of resistant staph infection (MRSA) in North America. pharmaCline has created safe, effective topically applied product lines for various medical issues using their Site Specific Penetration Technology? (SSPT) which helps reliably kill bacteria.

Keough recommends that people have at least three locations in the home showing poison control phone numbers, and to keep certain first-aid products or medicines like sleeping pills in a separate location, away from children. He'll also go over his tips on what key essentials every home medicine cabinet should be stocked with.

"A medicine cabinet make-over is easier than cleaning out the refrigerator and it is a lot more important," said pharmaCline CEO Steve Keough. "Remember to properly discard old products to prevent misuse by others or contamination."

"We've enjoyed having pharmaCline on 'The Balancing Act' for this Caregiver series. Our Lifetime viewers have received a great deal of critical information they can apply to their lives starting today from diabetes to wound care," says Doug Campbell, Founder and Executive VP of Programming for "The Balancing Act."
