Decorate your favorite salad with this delicious, light summer dressing recipe:
• 24 - fresh basil leaves
• 2 - cloves garlic
• 2 tsp - Domino® Light Sugar
• 1 cup - olive oil (extra virgin preferred)
• 1/3 cup - apple cider vinegar
• salt and pepper
Place basil leaves, garlic and Domino® Light in food processor. Pulse until chopped. Slowly add oil and then the vinegar. Pulse until combined.
If no food processor is available, in a medium bowl, combine chopped basil, minced garlic and Domino® Light. In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil and vinegar. Add slowly to basil and garlic, blending well. Salt and pepper to taste.
Makes approximately 1 ½ cups.
