Dr. Wendy Walsh

Wendy Walsh Ph.D’s career as a journalist bridges both television and print media. From news and entertainment programming, to talk-shows and sports, Wendy Walsh has anchored, hosted, written and produced. As an author, she has written The Boyfriend Test and The Girlfriend Test and currently has a new book in the works about Balancing your life .

Walsh’s on-camera credits include hosting on Court TV, CNBC, The Learning Channel, Warner Bros., nationally syndicated magazine show, EXTRA, UPN Channel 13 news in Los Angeles and NBC’s Weekend Today Show. In addition, her numerous anchor and host positions on sports and entertainment shows have been seen on HBO, Fox Sports Net, Prime Ticket and ABC. She helped create a weekly health and fitness series for the Outdoor life Network called “Naturally Fit.” She has appeared in six feature films including The Mask, Heat, Cable Guy, Independence Day and Leave It To Beaver.

A native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, she earned her B.A. in Journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto and both a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at California Graduate Institute in Los Angeles. Her charity work is centered on improving the lives of children, founding L.A. City Camp, designed to educate and inspire at-risk youth in government housing projects in Watts. She now enjoys life with her two daughters in Venice Beach, California.

As her career has progressed, she’s never lost her love of fitness. In recent years, she’s focused on health and wellness issues for women, specifically by developing several fitness aids.

Kathy Peterson, celebrity design expert, author and national TV spokeswoman and TV host, has shared her unique do-it-yourself design projects with busy women around the world through numerous TV appearances, women’s magazines, newspapers, columns and more. As a design expert and consultant, she has developed new product and licensed her Kathy Peterson Inspired brand in the floral industry and she replaced Martha Stewart’s syndicated column for 2 year in the Palm Beach Post.
