The Balancing Act

Customizable Meals

Spicy, hot or chock full of veggies, does every member of your family want something different for dinner? Maruchan can help!

Is it time for dinner? Having meals together as a family is a great way to spend quality time together, but can be a challenge when each member of your family wants something different to eat!

Well, what better way to satisfy the whole family than to customize their dishes individually than with Maruchan Yakisoba meals?

Maruchan is the maker of the well-known Ramen noodles, and has added the convenient-to-make Yakisoba dish. Now the great thing is that you cook the package in the microwave and can add all different types of ingredients — your favorite veggies, leftover chicken or seasonings, to name a few!

So for families who want to eat together, but have different tastes, why not try this basic recipe using one of the following varieties of Yakisoba for a meal everyone will enjoy?

– Chose your favorite Yakisoba meal (i.e. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Teriyaki Beef or other!); peel the lid back half-way
– Remove flavor packet
– Add water as directed on package
– Microwave for 4 minutes
– While cooking, ask what everyone wants to add to their meal – from chopped tomatoes, peppers, diced chicken to favorite spices
– Take meal out of microwave and add flavor packet, then stir
– Add your favorite ingredients and mix up
– Serve with your favorite bread or side salad!
