We always talk about your individual personal safety but we thought now would be a great time to share some security safety tips for your home during the holidays. Bad guys always look for opportunity, so don’t give them any when it comes to where you live! If you will be traveling out of the area and leaving your house empty, take a minute to review these 5 holiday security tips for your home!
1. Stop your newspaper delivery so they don’t pile up in your driveway or ask a neighbor to pick
them up.
2. Do you live in the north? Ask someone to keep your driveway & side walk clear of
snow/debris.
3. Don’t let your mail pile up, have the post office hold your mail until you return. (It’s called
home mail service).
4. Check all your doors & windows to make sure they are properly secured (then check again).
5. Use a timer to lights and/or radio to make it seem like someone is home.
Have a Safe & Happy Holiday Season!
