“On Your Mark, Get Set – GO!”: Opinionated MAMA’s Perspective on EDUCATION

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Think about when you take your child to the first day of kindergarten…leaving our little ones in the capable hands of the teacher who is going to teach them not only “everything [they] need to know” about kindergarten during that foray into their school years, but be there to put a bandage on their scraped knee, and give a hug when they need one, too. I decided that I am truly gifted. So gifted, in fact, that I have decided to submit an application to Mensa, the association for geniuses like me. How gifted am I? In my entire family, it seems I am the only one who recognizes that when a toilet paper roll is utterly devoid of paper, it’s time to change the roll. (more…)
