I heard the news today..Oh Boy! A Mom told her son’s school not to provide lunch for him, as he was being punished. He was being punsihed for not making his lunch when asked repeatedly by his Mother to do so. Apparently he was being taught a lesson about puting work in and getting rewards out. The boy looked to be about 9 or 10. The question posed by the news.”Should a School not feed a child?” Personally I think that was the wrong question. What do you think?

Be Persistant!
Friday, February 19th, 2010In today’s job market, it pays to reinforce the message to our teens…BE PERSISTANT! My teen age daughter has been pounding the streets and applying online in search of a part time job, to no avail. Today she got a call back from Saks and she was thrilled. It was really exciting to see her realize, the resume she labored over was viewed online and they want to meet her for an interview. I am biased, but I know she will get the job!
